Collaboration Evolution

In 2006, I was approached by MeetGreen to assist their client, the Eclipse Foundation, in designing website navigation. Initially envisioned as a swift and straightforward task, the goal was to create a visually appealing and easily updatable navigation menu for developers and content editors.

Utilizing CSS styling and HTML, my design omitted traditional web button graphics, delivering the desired functionality to Eclipse. Pleased with the initial results, my collaboration with Eclipse has grown over the years.

I’ve been involved in numerous conferences, overseeing the production of printed materials, icons, web banner ads, and web updates. I even conducted on-the-fly photography during a three-day Eclipse event, predating live-streaming social media applications.

Working with the Eclipse Foundation’s in-house technical production, my role centers on art direction and graphic production for web and print materials. Occasionally, I’ve contributed to their web file repository with CSS or HTML. In 2008, I contributed to the web design of the main Eclipse site,

Presently, my responsibilities include providing printed conference materials for various annual events in North America, France, and Germany. This encompasses floorplan maps, signage, and programs. Additionally, I occasionally create graphics for websites and mobile apps.

I most recently completed signage for the 2023 conference in Europe

And I’m looking forward to continuing this tremendous relationship in 2024!
