Energized Creative Design
Challenge
Design a series of posters to introduce a new product and showcase tailored solutions for different markets.
One of the most demanding projects I tackled was a sales presentation for GE Security and the 2010 Beijing Olympic Committee. This digital presentation featured over 100 case studies, presented simultaneously in both Chinese and English—an ambitious and complex undertaking.
Approach
Turning fiber-optic cable into a visually engaging subject required a creative approach. I brought energy to the posters by incorporating vibrant backgrounds, dynamic lighting treatments, and compelling product photography. Featured below are two of the eight posters created for GE, ranging from 16″×24″ for utility and healthcare applications to a 30″×54″ backlit tradeshow display for fiber-optic cable.
Work Involved
During my five-year tenure at Sanda Communications on the GE account, I served as a lead designer and project manager. My responsibilities included:
- Usability consulting
- Art direction & project management
- Flash development & web maintenance
- Design and direction of print materials for GE Security
